Account and data

Sign-in, primary email verification, account deletion and privacy choices.

Sign-in and account settings

Use Sign in to access your account and the dashboard. UpBastion uses Clerk for authentication. The sign-in methods actually available are the ones shown in the account screens; this documentation does not promise that a particular social provider is enabled.

Open the account menu in the dashboard to manage the account options Clerk exposes, including email addresses. Follow the displayed verification steps when adding or changing your primary email. Monitoring emails use the verified primary address, not an arbitrary address entered in a monitor.

The application stores your Clerk user identifier and synchronized verified email to associate monitors with your account and send alerts. It does not store your password in its monitoring database.

Your monitors

Monitor access is scoped to the signed-in account. The current dashboard does not have shared workspaces, team roles, public status pages or a supported developer API with API keys. Its HTTP endpoints are used by the signed-in web application.

Each account has a limit of 10 monitors. The same limit includes paused monitors. Create and manage monitors explains how to pause, resume, edit and remove them.

Delete a monitor or account

Deleting a monitor from its detail page removes its check results, incidents and associated notification queue entries. Use this when you want to remove one endpoint while keeping the account.

Account deletion through the authentication account controls triggers a Clerk deletion webhook. When UpBastion processes that event, it removes the application user and cascades deletion to the user's monitors, results, incidents and associated notifications. This depends on delivery and processing of the webhook; it is not an assertion that every copy in every system disappears instantaneously.

If you cannot access the account deletion option or need assistance, contact [email protected] from the account email. Deleting an account does not recall email already sent, erase an unrelated support conversation or automatically remove data from existing backups.

Privacy requests

For access, correction, deletion or other applicable data rights, use the contact form or email [email protected]. State which account and records the request concerns. We may need to verify that you are entitled to the records before providing or deleting them.

Read the privacy policy for processing purposes, providers and retention. The cookie policy explains authentication storage and how to change optional analytics preferences.

A problem with the account

If you can sign in but monitoring emails are missing, start with email alerts. If a monitor remains pending or the dashboard cannot refresh, use troubleshooting. Include the time and the visible error when contacting support.
